Glens Falls Mayor Roy Akins signed the US Mayors Climate Protection Agreement and was awarded a "Cool Cities Certificate" by Sierra Club representative Pete Sheehan. Author Jim Kunstler spoke on energy and cultural issues. Talks and a Video on Green Buildings, Solar Energy and Local Agriculture were presented.

Glens Falls,NY Steps Up and becomes a Cool City at this rally at City Park. Glens Falls Mayor Akins, NYS Senator Little, and US Congresswoman Kirsten Gillibrand's representative Lisa Manzi addressed the gathering.

Event went as planned except very cold weather kept some people from attending outside rally at the City Park.
