Speeches, music, display tables, opportunity to be artistic, interactions among folks. I thought it was very well-planned and executed. It was delightful that several generations were represented--lots of high school kids. Best of all, it was upbeat and fun, rather than hand-wringing, which I think is very improtant for keeping up all our spirits.

A great crowd of Step it up supporters gathered at Julliard Park in Santa Rosa to hear local and state politicians, local bands and representatives of several environmental groups including the Sierra Club, Climate Protection Campaign and others.
